SYNEXIS requests airless apparent azimuth and elevation from JPL Horizons for the Sun and Earth, observed from the selected lunar coordinates. Hourly samples reveal changes across a 24-hour UTC window.

A positive Sun elevation indicates geometric sunlight availability, not electrical power output. A positive Earth elevation indicates geometric visibility, not a guaranteed communication link. Local terrain, antenna constraints, eclipse screening, and equipment performance are not modeled.

Setting times are hourly crossing brackets, not exact event predictions. LOLA terrain and local horizon profiles are not integrated; south-polar shadowing requires additional terrain analysis.

Landing coordinates: NASA NSSDCA / LRO. Lunar center: 301 · targets: Sun 10, Earth 399 · east-positive longitude · geodetic observer at 0 km. Illustrations are decorative, not NASA imagery. Educational comparison tool, not flight-certified mission planning.
